Refund Policy

Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for our products. You purchase the product from Paddle using their services; the product is licensed to you by us (the Supplier). All refunds, cancellations, and subscription management are handled by Paddle in accordance with the Invoiced Consumer Terms. This page summarises the refund-related terms that apply; the authoritative terms are Paddle’s.

Refund policy (Paddle)

As per Paddle’s Invoiced Consumer Terms: Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and on a case-by-case basis and may be refused. Paddle will refuse a refund request if they find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour that entitles Paddle to counterclaim the refund. This does not affect your rights as a Consumer in relation to products which are not as described, faulty or not fit for purpose.

Consumer right to cancel

If you are a Consumer (purchasing wholly or mainly for personal use) and the exception below does not apply, you have the right to cancel and return the product within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction. To cancel, you must inform Paddle of your decision—for immediate processing, contact Paddle here. For subscription services, your right to cancel applies following the initial subscription only, not upon each automatic renewal.

If you cancel as permitted above, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day they are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment and without you incurring any fees.

Exception: Your right as a Consumer to cancel does not apply to the supply of digital content that you have started to download, stream or otherwise acquire, or to products which you have had the benefit of.

Pre-orders and technical delivery issues

If you pre-order, you can request a refund for whatever reason until the content is delivered; after delivery, the standard refund policy applies. If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of the product, your exclusive and sole remedy is either replacement of the product or refund of the price paid, as determined by Paddle. To amend your order, contact Paddle here.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. Paddle will notify you if the price of a subscription increases and, if required, seek your consent to continue. You are charged between 00:00 and 01:00 (UTC) on the day the subscription period renews. If you wish to cancel your subscription, contact Paddle here at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Please provide your order number and the email address used to purchase. Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods. You may also cancel or update payment yourself via the “Manage subscription” link on our Pro/membership page (when signed in with your subscription email) or via the link in your Paddle receipt.

If a subscription has a free trial and you wish to unsubscribe before being charged, you must cancel before the trial period expires by contacting Paddle here.

Payment by wire transfer and sales tax refunds

Orders paid by wire transfer are not protected under the Consumer Credit Act and are not eligible for a refund. In cases where the transaction amount (including sales tax) is above $/£/€100, you may be entitled to a refund including sales tax at Paddle’s discretion.

If you were charged sales tax and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount if permitted by applicable law. You must contact Paddle within 60 days after completing the purchase and provide a valid sales tax code for your country. Refund requests received after 60 days from the date of the transaction will not be processed.
